The Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 2024, published on 15th February, is the Parliament Legislation associated with expenditure part of the Budget for Financial Year 2024-25.
Act authorizes Union Government to draw funds amounting to roughly ₹ 61.6 Lakh Crores (₹ 6158802,44,00,000) from the Consolidated Fund of India for part of the Financial Year 2024-25.
Voted component of the expenditure amounts to roughly ₹ 19.5 Lakh Crores, and Charged component of the expenditure amounts to roughly ₹ 42 Lakh Crores.
